The best way to tell about myself is to talk about what get's me excited
I get excited about sharing my passion for experiencing and sharing the wonders of the world, mother nature and the universe...
After a day's shoot, when I sit down at my monitor, editing gigabytes of images, and that one image...that one image that captured the moment comes across the screen...that gets me excited...
Likewise, I find myself going back, sometimes years, and I'll find an image that really grabs me. "How in the world did I miss that one" I ask myself. That gets me excited...
And, I get excited when I learn something new that helps me create my art. I have learned that the moment may best be rendered in black and white. Often, color can get in the way of the subject, the light, the shadows or the mood of the scene I was trying to capture...
And, I have learned that I enjoy the creative process that comes from compositing images with other images, sketches or scans of stuff I collect...
